Japan is an amazing country that completely exceeded my expectations. I was mesmerized by the bright city lights, the never ending hustle and bustle of people and the delicious varieties of food.
However, what surprised me the most was the warmth of the people, live tradition and order in the midst of the highly urban environment. I enjoyed learning Japanese through native speakers and found language exchanges between Japanese students studying English and Western students learning Japanese to be very helpful. I loved strolling through scenic Japanese gardens and feeling the peacefulness of the ancient temples. With Japan being such a unique country, you’ll never have a dull moment!
